Web Foundations is a structured, beginner-friendly high school curriculum that teaches students how to build and style real websites using HTML and CSS.
Students begin with core web structure, learning how HTML organizes content, then progress into CSS styling, layout systems, and responsive design. The course emphasizes clean structure, debugging skills, and professional coding habits rather than copy-and-paste templates.
By the end of the course, students can design multi-page websites, apply modern layout techniques such as Flexbox, and complete a final portfolio project demonstrating mastery of web development fundamentals.
This course is ideal for introductory computer science, CTE pathways, or web design programs.
